2016-2017 Peirce Student Council Elections
This year our Student Council Elections will be starting at the end of September! Applications will be handed out by teachers starting Monday, September 26th through Thursday, September 29th. Teachers will nominate students in their classroom that exemplify our IB Learner Profile traits, attributes, and are maintaining good grades.
Student Council is for grades 3-8. Each homeroom class is to elect two representatives that they feel would represent their class the best. There also will be two alternates that will be elected in case one of the representatives are unable to be on Student Council.
When students accept their nomination, they will be handed a Student Council Election nomination sheet. This consists of a signature pledge sheet, guide for creating a campaign poster, commitment of events and schedule, and a few guiding questions on how to prepare their speech.
